What the member characterises as separatism I characterise as partnership
A discussion to be had but years overdue.
Nowhere in any version, interpreted or otherwise, of the document is the word "partnership".
However it does mention ceding sovereignty to the Crown and acquiring the full rights of being a British subject.
The natives are getting uppity as their ruse is fully exposed. They would do well to re-affirm their allegiance to the Crown and the flag of New Zealand.
