Cow turds in waterways - we've been doing it all wrong

Fancy some purified water from your waterways?

Scientists at Northeastern University developed a process that turns the bovine feces into a filter that purifies otherwise undrinkable water – an innovation the team hopes can address the global water crisis.

Seems that more intensive dairying is the answer!  We need a thick foam of liquid bovine manure on our waterways to purify the water.

Like Londoners drinking urine with a multitude drugs etc in their recycled Thames tap water and like lab grown 'meat' I think these ideas are unfortunately not for me.   I prefer a real steak and rainwater.
