allegations made against him of sexually inappropriate conduct came from a “handful of middle-class women of a certain age”
The cancellation of Gregg Wallace, ex MasterChef and various other shows, is now fully under way as he doubles down and digs a bigger hole.
Others are distancing themselves from previous endorsements as the said harridans continue full flight.
He remains a recalitrant specimen ever willing to speak his mind. I admire him for that. Should the allegations and smears be proven in the future, that's a different matter.
“My first reaction was just, ‘Keep digging, Gregg. Keep digging’ because this shows the arrogance of a man who has zero introspection or self-awareness.
Guess he will never work or be in the public eye again. A pale white man's man will never do in today's world of inclusivity and diversity of wokism.
An aside, being of certain age myself, I too am guilty of being of a similar mindset as the current cancellee. Such commentary and actions were commonplace experiences in my earlier days. They remain so.
But maybe not so much these days, probably because of long held views and utterances, I rarely get invited to leave the reservation to converse with 'women of a certain age'.
