Declaration of Equality

There shall be one law for all:
  • I refuse to accept any reference to the Treaty of Waitangi or its principles in any constitutional document.
  • I require that such references be removed from all existing legislation.
  • I require that race-based Parliamentary seats be abolished.
  • I require that race-based representation on local bodies be abolished.
  • I require that the Waitangi Tribunal, which has outlived any usefulness it may have had, be abolished.

Everyone has a price

A much touted treaty non-party has finally confirmed they too can be purchased.
It's the first deal Tuhoe has done with the Government in 168 years.

Maybe not with blankets, beads and muskets, but colonisation continues in the currency of the day after 168 years.

What's next on the agenda, now that they have suddenly stopped terrorist activities and changed tack to being capitalists? Independence? Sovereignity? SH1 tolls to pass through the likes of Tokoroa to Taupo?

Where will this farce end. Hopefully with Cullen gone at the end of the year, such settlements will cease.

Sigh...National are unlikely to be much better PM.
And none of this money will filter down to ordinary Maoris anyway.
