To be secular or not?

The scab that is co-governance in its full glory is to be lifted this week.

the christianity that the mayor wants to stop is his business but he will never, ever stop karakia – never

Apparently some special people are miffed at the secular nature of modern proceedings.

Get the popcorn in.

A delicate balancing act

It is my local community so I will be looking to be present there as soon as I’m able to

I do need to delicately balance being in the right place in the right time

Ardern defended her trip, her first visit to the Chathams, saying she had been in touch with some Mt Albert community leaders

Ah, yes, she will have likely consulted with H1 Foundation for orders and then proceeded on her day trip on Air Horse One to curry favour with the murderers of Moriori rather than the family of a murdered Indian in her own electorate.

The feeling's mutual Winnie

Winston thinks he's in with a chance at the next main play, so he's laying some ground rules.

We are not going to go with the Labour Party, this present Labour Party crowd, because they can’t be trusted.

You don’t get a second time to lie to me, or my party and they did.

Very likely that the electorate might suggest that the feeling's mutual in relation to trust.

To me, WRP remains nothing but one who peddles electoral snake-oil.  One who is adept at dancing on the head of pin post-election on inferred pre-election policies.  And will be forever known as the enabler of that woman.

Most definitely, once bitten, twice shy

"It will feel good."

 Never truer words.

A short video advert from prior to his previous election as #45 explains Donald J. Trump's chances of re-election as #47.

Labour-Lite tosser to visit the Tron

The would-be leader of the opposition is trying outdo Labour's 'that woman' pre-announcing announcements.  One day National may actually get a leader that shows a difference between their party and the left.

Never fear, the corrupt bribe takers of the MSM will always be on hand to eviscerate you on your every word.

National leader Christopher Luxon is making a policy announcement in Hamilton this morning.

What a bloody tosser!

Look! A weasel!

Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown is pulling back from election promises

Like all politicians - an effing weasel.  Jafalanders will be suffering from buyer's remorse.

It didn't take long for him to reverse course from his very publicly stated pre-election promises.  I daresay he's been threatened with the legals in the short few weeks since being elected.

In parallel, I wonder if that woman has offered an inducement re 3 waters to keep the Auckland council CCO's undisturbed.

Just cut their benefit!

Kiwis turning down jobs to remain on the benefit would be put on "income management"

They should already be on "income management" at the first strike of not accepting any offered job.

The dole is not a lifestyle choice for the would-be career bludging nephews who choose to remain on the couch.

Just cut their benefit already!

ACT continues to show leadership in this area.

Mr Mayor, this is how you do layoffs

The unionised lurking in the ivory towers are to be slashed forthwith.  Predictably union scum are screaming blue murder. Probably will prune $15-25M off the payroll.  In my book, anything that excises tenured academics and associated shiny-bums can only be good for New Zealand.

Come on Mayor Brown,  AUT has shown you how to lance the unionised boil.   Now get on with it!  We are waiting for you get more than a head count of 1.

Engineering ecosystems in NZ

In the UK there's nothing but praise for these ecosystem engineers.

XXXXX serve as ecosystem engineers - a term used to describe species that can alter and maintain a habitat. The shaggy-haired animals, which have been described as "woolly bulldozers”, are seen by scientists as climate heroes.

"They are quite big and robust, so they can really shape and engineer the landscape around them," said Gibbs explaining that their fur debarks trees, they mow grass with their mouths, their large bodies create pathways throughout the dense forest and their nutrient-rich manure helps other species flourish. "Everything they do has this positive impact and shapes the world around them."

** Insert 'Bison' for the UK.  In NZ, insert 'Cows' - story from here

Meanwhile in NZ there is zero 'positive impact' as here anything that is remotely bovine is denigrated as evil incarnate with respect to engineering ecosystems.  Notwithstanding that the bush in New Zealand was tamed for farming through the use of cattle.

Hold my beer ...

What I’m hearing is it is going to happen and Wayne Brown – I don’t know if he realises this – he doesn’t have the power to stop it.

Newly elected council wallahs proudly tout their tribalist connections to the 14% whilst ignoring the 86%.

Meanwhile the similarly connected deputy thinks 3 Waters (and no doubt SNAs) are a done deal.  Must be some good Mahuta Corp Koolaid in those waters!

Hold my beer!

An aside, Wayne's had a great first week in office, leading up to the change of government next year.

Never in a million years

 "There's three in this marriage"

Didn't take long.  They're testing the water to drop the word "Consort".

should refer to the "Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla"

In my book a more fitting title will always be the "Whore of Windsor".

How to stop ramraiding teens

one school district in Missouri, who have made a willing decision to bring back "physical force" as a punishment for unruly students, ... for "correcting student behaviour".

Like it or not statistically, violent behavior in teens has increased in direct proportion to the removal of corporal punishment - where it still exists such as Singapore teen crime, vandalism & violence is almost non existent.

Nothing wrong with 6-of-the-best or a nun's two inch leather strap.

Long missed here in NZ, parents are thanking the school board.

Of ablaut reduplication and green little men

I do wonder if the same rules apply to the mash-mish of te mow-ree pidgin so prevalent in these troubled times?

Council wallah out for drive gets his boots muddy.

Far North mayor John Carter went to check the slips on Friday morning and thought they looked bad

Like as if the on-site contractors who have to clean up the need more council and NZTA wallahs in hi-viz lurking at their job-site for the next year.  Yes, on SH1 there's another large underslip, 15x overslips, the Mangamuka Gorge is going to be closed again. Possibly forever.

I'm sure a drone snapshot of the road / flyover of the slips would be of more use.  That only needs one person on site.  Hell, the Mayor might even get such footage posted on the council website to show what state the road is actually in.  And a regularly updated timeline showing progress during the repair.

After all we live in the Wuhan pox days of Zoomed calls and unwanted co-governance with a dose of 3-waters driven government holding pre-meetings online over doomed MP's.

Maybe the same council website might have some real-time information on all slips and outages around the district for long-suffering ratepayers who pay his over-blown wages.  At present such info is found out via word-of-mouth.  And if you do not have access to Fakebook via their closed local information groups, you're stuffed for info during such events.

When I drove the same highway a couple of weeks ago, the road was noticeably slumping in multiple places, with large 750+ mm slumps visible, just waiting for a small rain event such as we're enduring right now.  And this is only 200mm over a couple of days, not your typical cyclonic normality of 100mm an hour over 3-5 days.  Meanwhile both SH1 and SH10 have flooded access further south and are often blocked.

It is high time the same governmental wallahs made real efforts to future proof road access to the Far North.  A tunnel would be nice, a decent road even better!  We're only talking about a 400m high hill!

The Mayor shouldn't need to get his gumboots muddy!

The cover up continues...

It related to a Wellington-based staff member travelling to a member’s electorate office for the purpose of team building and assisting the wider team. This is normal practise for many members when establishing a new team which has staff dispersed in different regions

So the union bullies were despatched from Trevor's head office to his office, no doubt at the behest of the 9th floor, to sort out a new MP.  And he had the temerity to complain about being made to pay their expenses?

The cover up re misuse of funds is in.  'Establishing a new team' is word soup for knocking the rookie into line.

As we also know via Cindy's utterings in recent days, he'll be further subjected to 'wellbeing' reducation.  Oozing no doubt with copious lashings of 'kindess' as the matter is put to bed.

Not for you!

to be eligible for a First Home Grant or First Home Loan, applicants must not currently own property or land, although this does not include ownership of Māori land

Seen today in my meanderings.

Another rule not available for those with ancestry of that of a pure evil coloniser.

Thieving New Zealand government raises taxes yet again

Some may split hairs and call it an ACC levy which is added to vehicle registrations.  In my view it is a compulsory impost on me which is extracted to government coffers, therefore it is a tax.

Anyway, went to do the usual extraction of my hard earnt dollars online to pay said rego for said bit of paper.  Paper reminder came out a week or more ago via snail mail at $195.08 online, due 1 July.  When the better half got to paying it online today we see that the rego will now cost an extra $10.35.

After joining the queue of the damned on hold at NZTA, listening to a vile noise purporting to be music, we've found out Cindy has raised ACC taxes and you will pay.

NZTA says nothing to with them, it's ACC's problem and ring them.  NZTA will not honour their original paper bill.

Thieving bastards!

You only had one job

Department of Corrections blames the size of the organisation and the busy nature of prisons for misconduct allegations being missed

Trouble is, like the Minister of Plod, too busy to do their only job.

And in other news, the colonised in Kaikohe think that a street march will stop rampant gang crims in their all-out turf war.  Meanwhile the citizens of their ilk continue to condone gang scum.  Yeah, right!

Meanwhile our illustrious leader who is overseas on an extended jolly doesn't miss the US tragedy selling arms control to the world via talk shows, all while JafaLand gangs continue to shoot at each other in their daily pursuits of turf and criminal action.

Life in a pinless vacuum

The only climate battles were strategic quiet shots in the inner city Teal Seats between the Gucci wives and the Liberals who said “me too”. None of this played out in public and won the Liberals a single vote in battler-land.

Thus the Liberals ran chicken down the left lane on the freeway — in the same direction as the climate bully bandwagon — because they thought that the media wouldn’t hit them as hard, and it was true — but that didn’t help at all. It’s in the hate filled fantasy rants of ideology when the winning “Deplorable” moments occur. The smug lefty zeal looks ugly to the public, but it was never exposed. The punters didn’t get reminded of the elitist disdain for their electricity bills. Extremists didn’t glue themselves to footpaths or dance naked in the street shrieking. This was not an ugly vitriolic election, it was a nothing campaign. But that just left a pinless vacuum the green fantasy balloon grew to fill.

The whole climate facade is built on feel-good branding and fashion, and the Libs just joined the advertising — as Matt Canavan says – we effectively legitimized the green agenda when we signed up for Net Zero.

 From the esteemed JoNova.

A pinless vacuum indeed.  The same vacuum present here as te lingo Luxon and Act fail to tell the electorate what they really think of the climate scam.

A warning for LabourLite

The blood is flowing freely across the ditch in Oz.  Scotty from Marketing Liberals have been routed, independents are in en-masse and Albo the last man standing sneaks in as newly minted PM.

Some are really pissed.  Resident loud-mouth cockatoo Barnaby unleashes:

“So it’s almost a sense of, if you vote Labor you’ll vote and stick there, and we know you will because of party discipline. If you vote Nationals or Liberals you’ll vote and stick there. And then, ‘We have a right in the middle to go whichever way we want whenever we like.’ That is just so, so selfish.”

Seems the voters have had enough of fence sitters from the long-standing two party system.  They want real change and representation for their community, not career pollies looking after themselves in Canberra troughs.

In New Zealand, LabourLite would do well to heed this result.  Here we cannot distinguish between the separatist racists in the current government tossing democracy aside for rampant apartheid with copious servings of nepotism garnished with corruption and the new kid on the block, te reo Luxon.  The two parties are on the same fence, with the same offerings of zero change.

"it rolled over onto its side"

Apparently a couple of Ukrainian Neptun missiles slotted the Russkie pride of the Black sea fleet.  Distracted the fire control and whammo!  A cruiser with a 500+ crew.

That will annoy the madman Putin.

Jacinda loses the room

Jacinda reckons 'we will not be defined by this'.  Jacinda's goons led by Cuddles Coster may do your bidding today, but long term it is game over.

It happened on your watch, a lot of the 'team of 5 million' do not like your continual lies, inaction and non-delivery.

Today, you may win this battle clearing Trev's lawn but you will not win the war.  Your ignoring the protestors for three weeks has amped this protest to the max.

Protesting in New Zealand has turned and redefined.   We thought a few years ago that anti-apartheid protests were a bit more physical than the average Kiwi might desire.  Future protests will be more in your face and destructive like BLM domestic terrorists overseas.

Your ball.

And while you're watching Europe vs Russia...

The Chinese Communist government announced military exercises in the South China Sea from Sunday through Tuesday.

The Republic of Taiwan will be cannon fodder as Xi makes his move.

Weak as so-called world leaders and appeasement never works.

Marketing Thieves

Had to purchase a new phone after running it over with the quad bike.  Effing thing slipped out of the pocket and under the bike on a metalled track.  Screen buckled and bowed upward, was unreliably but barely functional.

Said new phone comes with a redeem offer from 2 Degrees for their pre-packaged SIM.  Finally logged on, entered redeem code and hey presto upgraded with a "freebie".  No alternative choice, an automatic upgrade.  From a $19 to a $30 plan for one month.

But wait, there's more!  New plan at end of free month auto-renews.  No it doesn't drop back to my old plan, it stays on the increased charges forever.  And you have to join the 'your call is valuable to us... '  queue of the damned on hold to cancel the unwanted redeem upgrade.

Maybe slick marketing, but in my book out and out thievery by 2 Degrees of the highest order.
