One down, one to go.

Winston stops funding a well-known terrorist organisation.

New Zealand stops funding to UNRWA.

Winston : “We want to know our money is going for a legitimate purpose. And you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to work out it certainly was not. We're not financing cases where they actually engage with terrorists.”

Now Winnie, how about stopping New Zealand funding the same terrorists via the compulsory halal tax rort that is garnered from Islamic butchering of livestock at our meatworks.

Two reasons not to...

A succinct observation from ACT's Mr. Seymour:

first of all, I have no idea what Chris Hipkins is thinking, and second of all, he may not either.

Definitively, two reasons not to vote for the left.

You're misinformed #2345...

Nowhere to be seen in MSM dispatches today but:

After some sleeplessness caused coffee-assisted doom-scrolling in the wee small hours, I observed overnight that Mr. Plod exited Dargaville Aerodrome for the North Hokianga settlement of Mitimiti.  They spent some two hours plus overhead in tight circles and lazy local loops at below 2000 feet or so before returning southward.

As expected, the reactive local MSM has nothing to report.  Do not have Facebook / Twitter access to see what went down.  Nothing mentioned on FENZ incidents.  Mitimiti is a remote often windswept outpost full of specials with treaty rights and other alternative-styled types.  The long arm of the law rarely reaches into such areas, but there are a lot expensive Harley motorbikes that often transit toward the area.  Familial and community good visits no doubt.

Anyhow, Mr. Plod was probably out for a mainly peaceful long weekend jaunt on a nicely moonlight calm night, but we'll never know as the MSM ever gives timely real news.  One would hope that they haven't been upsetting C. Hipkin's gang mates - he desperately needs their votes.

As is oft stated, if you view the proffered news of the day, you're misinformed.

Supping with the devil costs Labour votes

C. Hipkins emotional?

More like caught in a corner, pants down supping with the devil.  The devil being the gangs and his ever wishful MP candidates will lower their standards to rock-bottom for any votes.

He tries to justify it all, suggesting "it was "bloody hard" for people managing family conflicts".

Maybe if those said families were to recognise gang members are not "community members doing God's work", but are criminals of the worst kind.  Every patch is an award for the most violent, serious criminality and stand-over tactics mainly from peddling drugs.

No amount of penitence will ever give redemption for these vile criminals.

Reality bites hard

Picture this:
A special peoples venture operates as a business model being mostly a sleep-out with an attached kitchen and at other times supposedly not whilst idling.

Whole operation is tied up and run by committees. Is probably not taxed being in a charitable trust model.  Gets its power supplied at cheap  residential rates and is often well-funded by unaudited taxpayer / ratepayer largesse.

Said business sees the bright shiny trinket of 'free power' via solar.  Signs up for an extensive solar power install to power their kitchen facilities.  Probably on some power board freebie grant model for "the good of the community". Looks to game the system thinking this will be so good for "our people", whilst raising the cost of power for all other users.

Power board installs a very expensive 300 kVA transformer.  Copper's worth heaps these days!  Power board also say that allows future-proofing for the localised housing expansion trough this venture's also got its snout into.  A business in any real sense of the word.

Now said business is whining to the MSM for sympathy as the power bill has jumped some 400%.  On full business rates so someone's paying for all that copper and fast-depreciating solar.

Business power bills do not stop for community good or idleness in the real world.  The true cost of being in business bites hard at the local funeral home.
