"We're here to help" #5436

the Government was working to “get Wellington out of farming”

Absolute bollocks!

There's an oft repeated saying just like that.

As is normal, the minister concerned continues with a healthy serving of tripe such as:

We want to reduce regulation and cost on-farm...

and then in the same breath utter:

with a wonderful carbon footprint story to tell

You do not have to wonder much why current farmers take the pine tree credits and run.   This Labour-Lite government is in boots-and-all up to their necks selling their climate-change carbon credit snake-oil.

Are there any recipes for pine tree stew?

Now to get back to previous business...

The saviour of the free world has just announced a Iran-Israel ceasefire.  Well done DJT.

Now Israel can return to the unfinished business of gutting Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.

And Vlod can continue annoying Vlad.

The screaming is about to start

3, 2, 1.

No it's not "Gentlemen, start your engines."

It is ...

Labour, the Green Party and Te Pāti Māori have been approached for comment

Unfortunately, its an upcoming screamfest.  There will only be one word used.  (clue - it begins with the letter 'R' and you will win bingo)

National's snake-in-the-grass on all that is wonderful about those special people has been tasked with the following on matters relating to 'increasingly activist' proceedings at Waitangi:

It’s time to put the Tribunal in its place

Indeed, one would hope that Mr Fence-sitter Luxon has started proper action on putting those unruly natives in their place.  The associated troughing grifters in the legal fraternity will not be amused as they are the prime enablers of such activism.

The tribalists have a win. For now.

The noes are 112. The motion is lost.

There's 112 that will never ever get my vote.  It has successfully exposed the tribalists in our Parliament willing to cause separation and division in New Zealand.  Of particular note are the scum in the National Party who aided and abetted this loss.

Thank you David Seymour for bringing this bill to the table.  The underlying cause will forever fester and hopefully decide the next election.

Absolutely no!

A guest writer seemingly endorses usage of pidgin Maori in English communications here.

A good read with arguments either way.  One of the best I have ever seen.

The status quo for many:

Use of Maori to non-Maori is so rarely as innocent as you state. Expect push back because of this

Why on earth would someone start a letter Kia Ora Cassandra, write me a page of English and end it with Nga mihi if he wasn’t virtue signalling

while I am quite aware of Nga mihi nui, Kia ora, etc I won’t be joining you in sprinkling them into my language

and:

Use one language or the other.

If it’s fully in moari, I won’t bother with it.

If it’s in manglish, I stop reading at the first moari word, and that includes “a tee rower”.

Summarising (wholly endorsed) via Cassandra:

And I end with the same reply: you’re advocating NZ pijin. No!

Mr. Luxon: What will it be?

Mr Luxon and others are today at the native-fest up the creek somewhere in the mid-North Island.  Vote buying lubricated with copious wads of your hard earnt taxes.  Corruption and god-bothering with marching bands.  Bread and circuses...

Rātana’s long-standing position that Te Tiriti o Waitangi was anchored in partnership

No doubt he'll tell attendees one thing, ie. it's a partnership, whilst every other New Zealander knows it is a three article cessation of sovereignity treaty which does not mention 'partnership' or define any 'principles'.

“If that partnership is going to be impacted, then it will impact on kotahitanga [unity],”

Meanwhile the natives continue to make their threats.

What will today's message to the gathered masses be Mr. Luxon?

And the band played Waltzing Matilda...

Cruise Director Chris Luxon rearranges the deck chairs whilst NZ Inc sinks ever deeper.

With rabid separatists railing daily against their colonising masters, New Zealand is damaged beyond repair, I fear.

Oh, for a Milei or a Trump.

The latest BS from Climatard HQ

Hydroclimate whiplash – a term for the phenomenon of savage seasonal swings between catastrophic rain and sapping drought – is increasing, fast.

WTF???

Ever desparate to insert the planet is boiling or whatever is the latest religion to garner more $$$$ that BS takes the cake.

Driven by an atmosphere stoked hotter by the burning of fossil fuels, the whiplash is amplifying flash-floods, wildfires, landslides and disease outbreaks

Absolute BS!

Meanwhile, some current takeaways from Kalifornia:

Take a closer look at the pictures of the 'burbs.  A number of metal and concrete tile roofed properties appear to have survived.  The ones that incinerated more than likely had typically constructed to code tar soaked asphalt shingles on plywood with open eaves all tinder dry awaiting an ignition source.  Change the building code to outlaw such construction.  (maybe that's why the dingos across the ditch favour metal roofed sheds, on concrete slabs without eaves, in bushfire regions)

We've moved into a La Nina (or is it the other one? - can never remember).  Anyway the general theme is that the western Pacific / Indian / Atlantic Oceans will get all the rain for the next few years.  Hence the eastern sides of those same water bodies are in a prolonged drought.  Somewhere within the next nine years it will cyclically reverse and the opposite will occur where eastern Africa is as usual drought ravaged.

As for the downpours - anyone remember that undersea volcano that dumped half the Pacific into the upper atmosphere a couple of weekends or so ago.  Well all that water has to eventually come down.  It was well predicted to be an issue for 2-5 years!

Climatards, life goes on.  The source of our climate will rise tomorrow morning and all will be well.  You'll get your daily dose of cosmic radiation to keep you cosy as the heat of the fires fades without fuel load, albeit reduced by a big cloud of Sulphur Dioxide in parts of Kalifornia.  You're maybe good for another 30 years or so.

Not one dollar of mine or yours will change what that big yellow nuclear fusion reactor in the sky does to our puny planet.  After all this planet has endured 4,500 million years without any adverse effects.

Mr Luxon: A question for you

Have just sent in my submission on the Treaty of Waitangi Bill.  Easily done and submitted.  Was surprisingly in the common language of New Zealand, namely English, except as usual for the website landing page.  Not one word of pidgin seen during the process.

However the 'do-not-reply' email noting receipt of said submission opened with a 'Kia ora'.  The rest of that email is in English without further pidgin insertions.

I fear the public servant (a nameless, genderless scribe named as 'The Office of the Clerk') issuing such an email has taken it upon themselves to show their bias to those who submit on such matters.

That aside, I should be thankful that the other often-named governmental scribe, a 'nga mihi' has not penned the reply.  Again, still have not worked out whether that one is a he/she or it.

Mr. Luxon, why are government departments still allowed to presume the the recipient understands or cares about any other language than the King's English?

All government missives should be in English other than where specifically requested or pertinent to the topic being discussed.

A small step in the right direction

in the news...

The PM will not attend the Waitangi shenanigans.

Baby steps.

But I'd be ever watchful of his token native, one Mr. Potaka.  In my opinion one that speaks and acts like a snake in the grass.  Still, the man of the moment, ACT leader Mr. Seymour will attend to watch the Navy do their thing on the lawn.  His mere presence should further rile the natives are their fast drying troughs are emptied.

Anyway, could I dare to dream that Luxon also skips next year's political opener at Ratana.  Seems to be a big thing necessary for mucho vote buying with koha (bribes) and selling the rest of New Zealand down river.

Oh dear. Harden up!

allegations made against him of sexually inappropriate conduct came from a “handful of middle-class women of a certain age”

The cancellation of Gregg Wallace, ex MasterChef and various other shows,  is now fully under way as he doubles down and digs a bigger hole.

Others are distancing themselves from previous endorsements as the said harridans continue full flight.

He remains a recalitrant specimen ever willing to speak his mind.  I admire him for that.  Should the allegations and smears be proven in the future, that's a different matter.

“My first reaction was just, ‘Keep digging, Gregg. Keep digging’ because this shows the arrogance of a man who has zero introspection or self-awareness.

Guess he will never work or be in the public eye again.  A pale white man's man will never do in today's world of inclusivity and diversity of wokism.

An aside, being of certain age myself, I too am guilty of being of a similar mindset as the current cancellee.  Such commentary and actions were commonplace experiences in my earlier days.  They remain so.

But maybe not so much these days, probably because of long held views and utterances, I rarely get invited to leave the reservation to converse with 'women of a certain age'.

"Long live freedom. Damn it!"

The best video one might see on such matters:

Javier Milei is removing a few ministries.  Only a few...

Exactly what is required as bare minimum in New Zealand.

MSM lies continue apace talking up the game

An aerial picture was given today of the protesting natives and sundry supporters next to Trevor's playground in front of The House. (flogged from NZ Herald.  Peak walkabout they'd have you believe.

Some pesky details (via Google earth).

A maximum forecourt area of about 120m x 35m give or take a few square metres like the grass and trees being partially populated with rabble.  4200m2 max.

A person (smallish adult, not typical of the rampant adult obesity apparent in many other pictures) is about 0.5m x 0.3m in plan view.  0.15m2 per person.

4200m2 divided by 0.15m2 allows for a maximum of 28,000 persons in that area.  All jammed in like sardines without room to fart!

Certainly nowhere near the estimates of 55,000 that the MSM would have you believe.

Luxon - time for you to man up!

Mr Luxon, today is the day for you to man up and lead the country.

No amount of platitudes will do.  Time to put the errant natives in their place.  Tell them there is no sovereignity on the table, no co-governance or partnerships.  As well as zero principles.

Middle New Zealand is watching you closely for you to do the right thing.

"Not the right kind"

On Monday we witnessed deluded natives on walkabout being given escort throughout the Queen City courtesy of Mr Plod.  Even closed the Harbour Bridge during peak traffic.  Working stiffs paying for the walkabout were warned that their working day was to be interrupted.  All followed by despicable outbursts in Parliament on Tuesday with stoneage theatrics.

Today, Saturday, we witnessed the self-apponted Bishop and his merry band of motorcyclists hold up traffic for a short time on the Southern Motorway en-route into JafaLand.  A pisstake on the weeks events as the good Bishop supports the proper New Zealand flag and does a decent haka.

Police will be taking enforcement action after hundreds gathered for an “unlawful and extremely irresponsible” convoy down an Auckland motorway.

Mr Plod has later today decided they are "not the right kind" and will be charged.

Really?
